A Little Bit About Me...

Hello there! So glad you've popped by to learn a little more about the face behind Rian's Dog Training. As you have probably guessed, my name is Rian, and I'm a proud 30-year-old, born and bred right here in Telford.

For as long as I can remember, I've had a huge passion for our four-legged friends. Dogs have always held a special place in my heart; honestly, they became my world during some tougher times.

School wasn't always easy for me, and I experienced a fair bit of bullying, which, like for many, led to some real anxiety issues. It was during these moments that dogs truly became my safety blanket, offering comfort and unconditional love when I needed it most. They taught me so much about trust, patience, and the incredible bond we can share with animals.

It was this profound connection that spurred me on.  I went on to study both Animal Management Behaviour and Welfare at College, before continuing on to focus on Canine Clinical Behaviour at University. My goal was clear: Driven by a desire to understand dogs on an even deeper level I wanted to help others develop those same incredible, supportive relationships with their dogs that I've been so lucky to experience.

Between college and university, I set up my first business alongside another trainer at just 18 years of age.  Five years later, or seven years ago, however you want to look at it, I decided to pour my heart and soul into what has now become Rian's Dog Training.

Every day, I'm genuinely excited to work with you and your furry companions. My approach is always warm, understanding, and tailored to help you build a strong, positive connection with your dog.

Thanks for stopping by, and I can't wait to help you and your canine pal on your journey together!
