Nursery Group - Foundation Puppy Course

For dogs new to training, of any age.

Start your training journey with the basics that set your dog up for life.

In this course, we focus on:

Core cues made fun – Sit, down, stand, and spin taught through positive methods, with the goal of reaching verbal cue reliability
Loose lead walking foundations – Teaching your dog to walk nicely on lead, from positioning to fluid movement
Impulse control and calm focus – Using four eye contact games to build strong disengagement, leave-it, and self-regulation
Wait, stay, and release – Teaching your dog to pause and listen, laying the groundwork for future control in all environments
Confident socialisation – Safe exposure to novel objects, surfaces, and handling to build your puppy’s curiosity and resilience
Recall foundations – Introducing a sacred recall phrase and playful recall games to create a dog who wants to come back

Ideal for: First-time dog owners, rescue dogs, or any pup starting out.
